At both Savanti and FSP, the culture of collaboration truly shines. In just a short time, I’ve found myself immersed in a new environment where creativity thrives, teamwork is valued and personal growth is nurtured.

I joined Savanti, part of FSP, two months ago as a Senior Security Consultant where I am part of the Security Architecture & Technology team, delivering technical guidance for implementing and optimising security technologies.

I started my career in Cyber Security through a degree apprenticeship. I became fixed on this path after getting a taster at a CyberFirst summer course, a government outreach and education programme run by the National Cyber Security Centre. Whilst completing my apprenticeship, I made my mark as a Security Architect. This role equipped me with an exponential rate of learning and exposure to continuously upskill and refine my technical skills through hands-on proof of concepts, as well as the opportunity to innovate new ways to demonstrate value to various senior stakeholders, fostering continuous and effective change.

My experience prior to joining Savanti sits in solution architecture where I gained a wider understanding of general IT architecture practices. My role involved designing collaboration systems. By shifting away from a security-oriented role, it served as a reminder of just how much I enjoy and have a natural curiosity for security, so I became determined to reclaim my sense of purpose.

It was then that I was approached by Savanti with a fantastic opportunity to step into consultancy and specialise in security architecture. By knowing that I was joining not only Savanti, but also FSP, an award winning consultancy, I couldn’t help but say yes!

Since joining, I have been exposed to so many interesting and new areas spanning across client work and service development where I am constantly challenged and inspired to think outside the box. The people are definitely what sets Savanti and FSP apart, and I saw this first hand at FSP’s Summer Party in June. I met lots of new people from different areas of the business. It was the perfect setting to break the ice and start to build relationships. I can’t wait for the next event and overall where my journey at FSP will take me.
