I started at FSP in September 2020 as a Graduate Data Consultant in the early talent capability, Client Services. I was able to gain a varied experience across multiple specialisms including Data & AI, Delivery Management, Business Enablement and Pulse 360. This experience really helped me understand the business, understand FSP’s offering and hone my skills in the specialised area I saw most fitting for myself.

A positive contribution to my time at FSP so far, has been the support around the business, from people in varied roles and positions. I have found role models and mentors in abundance, due to the supportive environment. They have contributed to me feeling confident and motivated to take ownership of my career, accept and take on new challenges, and ensure I am reaching my full potential.

I’ve enjoyed providing value to my clients, but I’ve also loved contributing to internal initiatives. For example, I’m helping continue to grow the future talent of FSP, by being involved in the recruitment for the graduate data analyst role for the 2022 intake. I have found it very humbling to be given the opportunity to pay it forward by speaking at a Reading University careers event, discussing cooperate life post-university. Additionally, I have been able to contribute to my other passions: Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and Women in Tech initiatives. Another highlight for me, was being invited to speak at the Defence Women’s Network’s International Women’s Day panel, to discuss how to create an environment, where women can thrive in the technology industry.

Now over a year and a half into my time here, I am nearing the end of my time in Client Services. This time has helped shape my career – the wealth of client experiences I have gained, has given me the confidence to continue my career in the Data & AI team. I’m very excited and motivated to support our clients on the journey of seeing their data as an asset.
