In support of FSP’s company-wide community initiative, which gives all employees 2 days of leave allowance for charity work, we are delighted to see individuals and teams across the business getting involved in a wide range of important charities and community projects.

One member of FSP, James Culley, spent two days in the summer supporting Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service, a long-term partner of FSP. They are an incredible charity that provides specialist care & support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire & surrounding areas.

Reflecting on his days helping at Alexander Devine, James said:

“When I knew that local hospice Alexander Devine had little time to train their volunteers on the latest outdoor machinery, the opportunity to use my FSP charity leave at AD was an obvious one! I have been able to support Alexander Devine in maintaining and planting in their Enchanted Forest themed garden, their much-loved outdoor space, providing a sense of peace and escape for their patients and their loved ones. It felt amazing to contribute to the great work AD are doing. There are so many ways we can provide support, so I will definitely be returning to help again in the future.”
